Clarence, I was with my cousin Andrew Warner (dep head of St Martin-in-the-Fields High Sch, Lambeth) yesterday. One of his school teacher colleagues partners is also named Adoo (also musician, composer/jazz, is disabled). Andrew has headed up a Ghana educational exchange project and been over several times. I wonder whether there is a family connection. Hope all is OK...we will be in Hexham on 26th Sept playing for DM, any chance you can get to the afternoon rehearsal?
Love and bests from Jill and Martin

Will be in Hexham with Jill for concert on 26th Sept, would love to see you. Bests,#Martin

Hi Clarence, just a line to let you know it is my priviledge to arrange a programme on your behalf. I have great memories of us playing together especially the tour to Norway. The event. Tubalations is taking place on Saturday, 23rd January 2010 at the Letchworth Free Church.
It would be wonderful if it were possible for you to attend. Obviously I can't convey all the information about this event - visit the web for that (just type 'tubalations').
It would be lovely to hear from you and I will contact you with further details at a later date.
God bless
Roy Scott - Stotfold corps

We just popped in to say hello Clarence, and let you know what an inspiration you are to all who meet you with your happy and outgoing nature. We feel honoured to have met you, good luck in your search for more technical aids to see your dream come true of playing your trumpet once again.

  Hi Clarence.
Another great night with the Clarence Adoo Brass Band, well supported by Peterborough Songsters.

£1500 raised and the profile of the trust raised again. I saw plenty of people with CDs in their hands so hopefully a good few more sold.

Thanks for directing 'Lord, with my all I part', you were absolutely right to do that and provided an inspiration to us all.

Hope you had a safe journey home and we'll talk soon about the 6th CABB concert.

Best wishes

  Hi Clarence,

Another one of those names that pop up from ELYB days. This is my first visit to your web site. I followed the link from the poster I received of the festival in Peterborough. Hoping to be there. You were an inspiration to many in the ELYB and you still are today to so many more. Every blessing. Neville

  Hi Clarence,
So sorry not to have contacted you for SO long. I am thrilled to see your web site and read all about you. Over the past few years I have read about you in various publications and seen you on tv and heard radio programmes. You are an inspiration to us all. I am teaching clarinet, flute, sax and piano both privately and in schools and have a lot of accompanying work all of which is great fun. I often think of all those concerts we did at the RCM, I remember you seemed to pop up in everything! We were so privileged to have the chance to study there, I really loved it.
I shall visit your site often, so will get news of you that way. Take care.
Love
Sara Jones
